Concert for Diana

Watching the "Concert for Diana" tonight (Tivo'd from Sunday) and my oh my. First of all, I must say what a wonderful occasion. $90 a ticket, Wembley Stadium packed like sardines, and all proceeds going to charity. Awesome!!!

But now on to the serious matters of this event.

Fergie was there . Where DID she get that dress and how soon can I get one??? It's all so classy and pristine until you scan down and notice the 5,000 tampons that exploded all around her. Now that's a bad day to be out in public if you ask me. and I thought I was embarassed when someone noticed a dime size stain on my Gotcha shorts that one day when I was 13. Good god, woman. What WERE you thinking? oh wait! Are you capable of thought?

And then there's Duran Duran. I share in Diana's sentiment of they being one of my favorite bands. Who didn't love Duran Duran? So glad to see they are still rockin' hard. Of course the million dollar question for every girl over the age of 30 is... "were you a Simon or John guy? Simon LeBon, bless his gorgeous heart, is amazingly still sporting the exact same hair cut/style from the mid 80's and pulling it off! But then there's John Taylor. What mine shaft did you fall into, John boy? You've been partying maybe a little toooooo hard over the years. I think the "Simon" girls totally won. All I can say is... wow.
